can i stick some deep section 650c's on instead of 26"'s? Im not au fait with these non 700c wheels!

    thanks all

  • I dont understand. 650c IS a "non 700c wheel"

You will not be able to find large diameter tyres like that to fit 650c rims. 650c is a very niche size only used for youth road bikes & lo-pro's

If you want to stick skinny road tyres on it, whats the point of it being an mtb?

650c is about the same circumference as a 26" mtb rim. But latter is the most common wheel size in the world and you will have huge variety of tyre options at better prices.

  • It's just I know of some deep section 650c's that I like - can you get deep section 26's?

  • "The Deep-V is a virtually indestuctible deep section V-profile rim that has earned its reputation on the toughest streets in the world being abused by couriers. This is an extremely rigid rim which contributes to its durability but also can produce a very harsh riding wheel depending lacing pattern and spoke count. The Deep-V works well with tires up to 28mm wide. Available in 700c, 650c and 26" and other sizes by custom order."

Just a quick googling of deep section 26" rim

  • brill - thanks.
