The clue is in the words :-)

  • You fancy swapping for some Dura-Ace equivalents and some cash ?

Since when do DA make 17t and 18t ?

  • Hmm - good point, I've a few unused Dura Ace, wasn't sure what sizes, so I've probably got 13t - 16t.

  • I was looking for a 12, I know they have been made, Ciclos Uno's shop has seen one but....I'm buggered if I can find one second hand, although not made a huge effort.

91.4 is a good gear with 44 x 13, for Derny pacing looking for 44 x 12....yes, I know the gears can be got other ways, or as near as bugger it!

  • Any chance you could wait until the last day of the month?

  • Update: provisionally sold.

However, PM me if interested. What you see is what you will get. 17/18T sprockets still wrapped, 16T taken out to show carrier do-da. Will throw in some stickers too!

  • Just checking- the carrier will thread onto a Dura-Ace 7600 hub ok?

Good question! Not sure but the packaging blurb states:
Sprocket cluster: Thread BC 1.37x24 T.P.I.
    Lockring: Thread BC 1.29x24

Does that answer it? if not l will email Sugino.

  • Someone might be able to answer that, sadly I am not that person.

My set-up (with these sprockets) would be Dura-Ace 7600 hub, Sugino Sprocket, Dura-Ace 7710 cranks on Dura-Ace 109.5mm BB with Sugino 50T ring.

I would stick with my existing 15T Dura-Ace sprocket, but it currently feels as though my right achilles tendon is about to snap, so I thought I'd lower my gear inches slightly.

This is moot if the TPI is different however!

  • Being Japanese, l'm pretty sure Shimano/Sugino are compatible. The Sugino site is down at moment but according to John, the lockring is compatible:

Can't find info on sprocket threading. hopefully some trackie will confirm for sure.

    found this: http://www.londonfgss.com/thread15448.html

  • I'm pretty sure also, but the memory of trying to get a Miche lock-ring to work with a Formula hub when I was new to all this still haunts my dreams.
