The Interlock chain is made up of halflinks. There are no 'inner' or 'outer' links: each link has a bottleneck shape which interlocks with the links before and after it. Shadow reckon that this tends to even out the load on the pins and so increase useful life, which sounds reasonable enough. But for fixers, the design has another advantage: it makes it extremely easy to put the rear axle exactly where you want it in the dropouts. In fact, if you're into magic gear setups, this chain may be the answer to your prayers. It's only available in 1/8", and, being designed for BMXers, it's on the short side. Probably won't stretch to a really large ring. If in doubt, drop us a sales@hubjub.co.uk.
