I think clients like the look because it's clean, like a blank canvas, and 90s-inspired, which is a big trend. It's alien-like and quite creepy.

  • Further proof that the world has gone to shit.

  • Aerodynamic and weight loss, good for the racing cyclist.

  • "curiously androgenous"

  • Which one is Emilie?

Yes, but 11ish years in I don't notice it anymore.

  • "The current economic troubles open people up to be more daring and willing to don cutting-edge looks,"

This quote is boggling my mind. Its like how the stock answer to fucking anything at the moment is "credit crunch, innit".

Chicks are bleaching their brows... feckin credit crunch, FFS.

  • Fuckin eyebrows??? Jesus christ.

"An unexpected side effect of the governments economic stimulus package is that women flocked to beauty salons to have their eyebrows reinstated"

  • Cut back where you can, eh? "Oh, my eyebrows? Just cost too much in these hard times."

A new look that's razing eyebrows
**I browse the Guardian from time to time, too, but I don't often find articles that are such bleach.

  • Very thin eyebrows ftw.
