Fuck the polo, have you seen the 'La Ocho' track they are building?
Not sure of the material, but if it is wooden surface... it would be the most insanely bestest thing ever. That curve in the middle going from one loop to the other makes me tingle with excitement.

I have raced on a figure 8 track, and it is indeed sketchy as anything, but generally the bridge is barriered. Not to say there aren't going to be some pretty awesome crashes.

A guy at my office is the one designing it....it's going to be a rammed earth structure,with strawbale protectors on the corners under the crossover. There's 4m headroom on the underside I think. He's planning/hoping to pre-fabricate it here in Toronto first to ensure it's all good and then somehow transport it down to Guatamala. I hope they set it up for trials up here!
they dont have any clear info in polo yet, but in the PDF, they say it will be polo.
