Hope they're helpful.

If you're not replacing the bearings, the only special tool is the 'hub wrench', which is the spigotted thing which should have come with your wheels, also known as the QRM adjusting tool.
There should be thousands of them floating around, as they've been supplied with various Mavic wheel sets for years, and frequently don't seem to end up with the end user; therefore, any bike shop which has supplied and fitted these or similar wheels to customers is likely to have several buried in their workshop. I've got one, but being in Slough I'm obvioulsy not that handy - somebody nearer you is likely to have one, with any luck. The Mavic PDF showing the procedure is attached.

thanks, v useful. I'll dig around the shed and see if I got one of them and have forgotten about it. presume it's the black tool that's not the allen key in pic 3.
hey,
have just snapped the axle on one of my mavic ellipse wheels. annoying but fixable.
however, mechanic at my LBS looked a bit stumped when I showed him it. apparently it needs some specialist tools to sort it. (details here)
does anyone know who might be able to do this in London who has some experience etc?
cheers
