it will probably ride well.. it's Italian.
there are loads of relatively unknown Italian brands out there like tommasini, scapin, olmo, ciocc, debernadi, guerciotti etc. just as good as derosa colnago etc just less well known. -

They are a Monza based firm, founded in 1923. The fourth generation of the family, who are brothers, are now running the business, having recently taken over from their father, Gianni. They produce around 1500 frames per year, and all are hand built at their premises in Monza.
Gianni Casati was widely seen as one of the premier framebuilders in Italy, and often praised by his contemporaries like Ernesto Colnago and Ugo de Rosa. He preferred fillet brazing to lugs, and many of his steel frames are brazed.
I've owned 4 of their frames, two steel road frames, a carbon fibre road frame and my current steel track bike. I've visited the factory on 5 or 6 occassions and have always been made to feel very welcome.
As Steve has already pointed out, their UK importer is Racescene in Barnsley. I prefer not to go via them as the one time I did they tried to inflate the price that we'd agreed on the phone beforehand when I went to collect the frame.

They use a local firm, whose name I've forgotten, to do their paint. One of the two sons is married to the daughter of the owner of the paint firm. That's one way of getting decent prices.
I meant to link to their website last night;

Had a look last night some nice stuff it seems they are nearly made to measure for each client,not been out on it yet but it is 59/59 which is quite hard to find in road bikes,I usally have to go for at least a 60 to get the toptube lengh I need,I think the only think i will do is upgrade the bars and stem and put Record on the front and back apart from that it is well set up.
