  • Large (I'm 6') 2002 Specialized Enduro with 4"-5" adjustable travel, includes:

    • A1 alloy frame with Horst link
    • the new, beefier strut
    • rock guard for shock (looks really moto)
    • Fox Float R shock (replaced in 2007; regularly serviced by Tim Flooks at TFTuned)
    • Marzocchi MXR air forks
    • Deore hydraulic discs
    • new Panaracer Fire XC tyres
    • Mavic wheels, Deore/LX/XT groupset

This bike rides really nicely, it's good for climbing and descending, a great all-round bike. You could even race it cross country if you wanted to, at an introductory level. It's surprisingly light - much lighter than the beefy looks would suggest.

I rode it mainly on the road a few times a week at uni, and since then (2006) I've only ridden it off-road in the Surrey hills about 10 times a year. That said, I've had it serviced and parts replaced as necessary. So it's in good condition, bar a few scuff marks. In total the bike has only been ridden off road about 40 times, I would say. As you can imagine, I'm sad to be selling it without having used it properly.

I'm based in South London but can travel. I'm offering £450 as need a quick sale. I can be reached on 07872348199 or jhwooding@hotmail.com

  • forgot to mention, I'll throw in a top of the range black Giro Atmos 60cm helmet that was about £100 when I bought it, and which I've worn approximately twice.
