Here is the Holdsworth that you all talked me into not converting, thanks.
The other thing is something I knocked up from bits and the tip, great for the pub, though have ridden 12 miles to work and back, not Ideal. Not bad for grand total of about £25. Wont win any prizes for looks eh?

  • okay that holdsworth despite the somewhat weird decal on the seat tube, look like it's in pretty good nick, defintely worth saving.

  • the holdsworth's nice! the other one needs a bath though. but what tip are you looking through? clearly i need to do more dumpster diving.

  • fuck that Ted, France is where we need to go, I'm pretty sure it's not impossible to find hidden gems there from next to nothing.

  • in fairness, here in berlin are all sorts of crazy beautiful french and italian geared bikes being ridden by people who have no idea what they're sitting on. i still haven't figured out where the magical flea market is.

  • I got the old Raleigh from Newquay tip, those handlebars were on it! cost me £2. Its tricky getting stuff from the tip now, think H&S have got involved. I think it comes from when I was a kid, we used to go to a tip in Jamestown Road, Camden Town, do bikes up, cowhorns were the go (what happened to them?) I remember having a fixed that i could get up Haverstock Hill on. Me and my mate used to sell them to kids at school, nice little earner!
