Could you not just put a freewheel on your current hub?

Yes, yes I could, but was thinking of moving the said wheel to the new build.

Just get the cheapest one, those System EX/Formula/etc. hubs, they're cheap as chip and quite reliable (fixed and free).
better off getting that than spending your time looking for a free-only hubs.
Hi,
Um, I am thinking of converting my Mark V to SS as I've a new FG in the making. So I'd need at least new rear wheel. A pair of brakes would be nice, too.
Not too sure whether or not there are non-flip-flop 120mm freewheeled hubs around? If not, what would be the best alternative? Which component(s) from which manufacturer(s)? I haven't got a fortune to spend, but would still like to know what would be the "ideal" setup, strength-wise.
I've really no idea what I need for the the conversion so help is much appreciated.
Oh yes: I tried the search and read through a few threads, but couldn't find what I was looking for.
