Garden Project - help wanted

I am looking for some people to help me realise a project in our garden in NW London.

Here is what I am hoping to do:

• Excavate 15m3 of earth

• Excavate foundation trench 0.3m D, 1m W, 11m L

• construct concrete foundations in trench

• Build a retaining wall (breezeblock) with DPC, drain and airbricks and decorative brick wall (approx 4.5ft high)

• lay patio slabs to match exisiting (york stone)

I will supply the materials, skips and some tools. Some of the work needs sheer brute force but I do need a skilled brickie etc to carry out some of the work. There is also a fair degree of finesse required in getting the finish right esp with the decorative wall and the flooring.

So if any of you are interested in the job get together to form a team, PM me and come round so you can see the scale of the job. If the price you quote is right and you have the right skills then you get the job. Starting as soon as I get the right people etc.

Secure bike storage, drinks and sounds etc all come with the job.

concrete foundations in trench (3.8 x 283m3)

3.8 x 283m3 = 1075.4m3

divided by 6.5m3 (1 full load readymix) = 165 lorry loads

Still looks like a fcnking huge job. I've been known to dig a few holes in my time but are you seriously suggesting that you have 1260 cubic metres of earth to shift?
How many skips will that take?
Seriously, I'm in need of manual labour at the moment, pm me and I'll pop round to discuss possibilities.

fruitbat - I have reviewed the original figures overnight that I got in an original quote and have amended the figures. Its not as big as it sounds!

Some sort of mechanical digger would turn this from a grinding nightmare into a fairly happy affair I suspect.
