Thank You. Thank You.
Finally a white tire I can afford ! ; ) -

You can get cheap white tyres (as in all-white and no black bits) easily from Condor.

the zaffiro pro is noticeably better than the old zaffiro, which was fairly obviously rubbish after a week or so (though still nowhere near as bad as the Halo tyre which I skidded through in exactly 7 days recently (17 skid patches). The zaffiro pro's 60 tpi is the same tpi as the old rubinos, which no-one seemed to be bothered by. Skidded a few times on my new one, then put it on the front for safekeeping. Still, white's a bit old hat these days, shame the novelty wore off. They seemed so exciting autumn 07, guess you get used to it.

Sounds like hard work...

I have a rubino pro as a rear tyre, nice predictable skid, very stiff and fast rolling and seem to be pretty p******e proof so far, and only £16.99 best value tyre I've ever bought.

Zaffiro's are shit.
They came stock on my bike.It was a dry day although it had rained the night before so there were puddles around.
I pedaled through a puddle while turning gently (some lean) and the bike went straight from underneath me. Sustained a heavily bruised and cut elbow and badly ripped saddle.+1 for the Rubino Pros. Got all-white ones from Wiggle and swapped them out straight away.
i know some of you hipsters are after white tyres and the all white vitoria zaffiro is back in stock at wigglehttp://www.wiggle.co.uk/p/cycle/7/Vittoria_Zaffiro_Pro_Tyre/5360042398/
only five left though!
anyway just bought a pair and thought i would let you guys know
