Wanted: Front Brake, DA or Similar upto £50

Hi All,

Im drilling my Dolan forks on Saturday, so i can run a front brake and use the bike for commuting.

Im after a very strong front brake calliper, something on par/similar to a DA 7800 calliper. I have upto £50 to spend and would rather go 2nd hand as i will be relacing the pads for Swisstops.

I can travel tomorrow to collect. (based in NW london)

I might have a used set of Ultegra calipers shortly, since I just bought some long cage ones to replace the ones on the Rubble. They're not as pretty, the front one has a problem with the QR lever but they slow my fat arse down from 80kph well enough..

I also have a set of black 105 calipers for sale.

Only selling in pairs because I don't want stray backs sitting around forever.

The 105s could be of use, what are you after and where abouts are you in London?

7900 calipers are £200+ for a pair so methinks you'll not be getting a front for £50. If anyone is silly enough to sell a front for £50 then I offer £51..

7900 will be around £100 me thinks (front only). Should be able to pickup a 2nd hand 7800 for £50 though

HIJACK alert! I'll take the black 105s off ya! I'm in Ealing as well, are they new or old models?
