Yeah, for sure.
I can't think of my favourite places to ride as such but moments I do enjoy are maxing it down East Road at rush hour in the middle of the traffic, realising I've gone the wrong way and end up taking that wooden walkway alongside the river from Jesus Green to Quayside, and Castle Hill (down).

Yea is that the jubilee cycle path?
-
• #13
not sure, but whilst on it you cycle past the Plough in Fen Ditton, which is a really nice pub
-

Don't really like cycling IN Cambridge that much. But yeah, Riverside all the way to Fen Ditton on the cycle path is nice. Fave bit of road for me is Coploe Hill and on from Ickleton to Strethall. Also the climb from Six Mile Bottom to Brinkley. Hmm, perhaps that should be my favourite climbs?
grantchester meadows gets on my tits. full of families, dogs, tourists and other spatially unawares.
The boardwalk along quayside? *** are you mad?!!*** -

Just did that today; http://www.bikeradar.com/routes/?bpath=maps%2Fbike-path%2FShort-Training-Ride-Round-Cambridge
It was such a nice ride I would highly recommend it...

Yes. I don't really like it at all. I just suddenly feel like I am in The Italian Job. On bikes.

Yup, that looks nice - and you can easily adapt it if you want to go further, eg. from Fowlmere head out to Shepreth, Barrington (another good hill), Haslingfield and back through Grantchester.

You know there are NO CYCLING signs at the end don't you? Or is that why you suddenly feel a bit gangsta?

I'm not sure I like cycling in the city very much either. I don't have any routes that are perfect, there is always something on them that spoils them. I like rolling around town at night but just beacuse I like rolling around.
My most recent circuit is down Hills Road, out past Addenbrookes then right up the horrible hill down to the Shelford crossing, then back in along the DNA Path. I hate climbing hills but there's only one way to get better at something.
The ride from Cambridge to Bishops Stortford down the B1383 is really nice on a hot day and pretty fast if you get a good steady pace up.
