Wanted: Information on cheap postage for a frame from USA?

Anyone had any experience with this as i have just bought and frame and seller is telling cheapest is going to be $350!!!

I went through this rigmarole last year. The cheapest I could find was with the US Postal Service but when they went to collect the box they measured it and it was too big for their international service. I tried various other places but couldn't find anything less than $500 as companies like UPS and FedEx don't do a international 1 week service so you pay a premium for fast delivery.

In the end I persuaded my then boss, who was a cyclist, to bring it back with him from business trip to San Francisco for free.
