just take the inside ring off a road chainset, it'll be 3/32nd" but if it's really small it's less likely to get bent by mallets so the difference in thickness ain't so much of an issue, if you get one out of a shops parts bin it should hardly cost a thing, i've been running one, a 38t, for the last few months with no problem, the chain is a bit noisier but actually not much worse.....

Will a 39 Shimano pressed jobby £3 @ Westies Thurs do you? Its very clean but not shiny PM if vaguely interested
so after selling my polo machine and deciding to use my second bike for polo i've hit me a big ol' snag!
