Miss Abigail Collins

Dear folks,

there is a wonderful street performer / physical comedian / hula hoop sensation / pole dancer who needs your help.

She has a new show in late July but needs to test out few aspects before hand including an acrobatic piece on a three metre high pole. The pole is free standing and requires the minimum of six volunteers. If anybody fancies being a total star and helping out then the idea is that we name a time and place in approximately a weeks time , say a polo court, in east or north london and Abi will instruct us all in what to do. at most an hour.

Abi was in Edinburgh last year, pole-dancing in the 'Office Party'. She's doing a few gigs around the UK, but mostly works in Europe (where she says people appreciate the true artistry of ballet danced on traffic cones). You can see all her stuff at myspace.com/abishows

tim, count me in dude. if you do it on a wednesday and are happy coming as far elephant & castle then you could do it on the court next to the polo one at newington. if another date/time just let me know - am sure we can find a good space for it

unfortunately miss collins has recieved a booking for wednesday and thursday 24/25th of june in holland and cannot practice this routine. thanks to those who pm'ed and those on here. she'll be in touch when she gets back.

Please Please Please come to Stratford east london on Tuesday and wednesday the 21st and 22nd of July at approx 7pm (precise details will be given if you can make it) and help run through a dress rehearsal of a new street performance for Abi Collins. She needs a few volunteers to hold props and ropes that will hold up a pole.
Your assistance would be appreciated more than you will ever know.

Can't do Tuesday but Wednesday is better.

okay...the show was a big success at the festival. main stage, main weekend and main times. crowds of 300 to 500 great weather and loads of fun. thanks to the boys for making it possible.
