Diss is in Suffolk, though, and if you're going on holiday I can only imagine you're going the north bit?
I'm from south norfolk, and I can't really envisage it as much of a destination. Unless you love tractors and boy racers. And who doesn't!

Sort of near Long Stratton. Middle of pissing nowhere, in all honesty.
Aren't you in Suffolk, there? I don't know the area. Though I used to spend quite a lot of time in Eye, for reasons which are now obscure.

I put South Folk meaning Suffolk, apologies..
Yeah, it's 'Suffolk Coastal' which isn't really near the border so although Long Stratton rings some bells I'm not familiar with it either. Always nice to know a fellow East Anglian though (even if you do come from the wrong county :P)

Likewise, dude. LS is about equidistant between Narge and Diss. You're missing nothing.
I evidently don't have as much suffolk slang as I thought I did. My first boyfriend was from suffolk; he worked on a herb farm. He used to say 'you're a rum girl' when annoyed with me, and 'you're a rare girl' when he was being nice. I loved that.

He sounds proper Suffolk then.. I'm pretty sure I don't have an accent and try not to use the slang unless in jest.
something/someone being described as 'rum' though is one of my favourite turns of phrase
Was wondering if anyone knew of any must visit bike shops in Norfolk that I go to whilst here on holiday?
