Anyone going to the England game tonight?

I've got a ticket, just the one. I would get the train from marylebone, but because of the tube strike so will 70,000 other people.. So was thinking about riding there from central london - anyone else up for it, or know any routes?

I'm also a bit worried about locking my bike up near the stadium, even with two locks it seems like a bad place to leave it.

there will be plenty of bikes there for the taking and a good few not as secured as yours. just park it near one of them

I quite regularly ride to football matches, there are normally enough coppers around to make it safe enough. Unfortunately it's Andorra so police presence may be reduced due to lack of away fans.

it'll be easier to get from manchester to wembley than from south london to wembley tonight

I just read that overground trains won't be stopping at Wembley after midday...

yeah looks like I'm going to ride there. Should be fun.. I live in Kensal Rise anyway so it's not that far to get home after.
