two groups leaving London saturday night

    whee know, ya?!

    wve vant own ride, jeez

  • Dunno what we're doin yet to be honest .... there was suggestion of going part of the way from cambridge in a van and riding down via avebury to the north . Hayden wants to go with London Peeps ,Its Just the hassle of getting back that puts me off....Too far to go from Cambridge, maybe we could give him a lift back.

Wish we were going to Ring of brodgor in Orkney near Twatt. :(

  • Nah im easy lets stay fixed and as a (ragtag) group.. Id like to do some proper through the night riding though.. Is there a way someone can pick us up on the stony end? say around 9-10 sunday morning?

Hey hey as for the ring of brogdor.. that horse isnt dead yet.. see the U-T thread. I know its not a prime hippy time but lets finger something out.

  • we could ride like a team in the tour de france line astern / switching out every 500m drafting and we could beat the geared riders if we work as a team !!!!

  • Shtawwn eeennnnge !

  • love the link RV its an truck orgy yaaaa!

  • My old bus is on it too.........

scroll down to the 6th picture

  • Love the bus =D

  • After cycling down the M11 you would deserve a little meal in the police station .

  • Uhh, I had something a little less...suicidal in mind.. Im not a huge fan or picking our way around/near london. getting lost there is my specialty. Here is the route I was thinkin. I think meeting up with RV & co for the 25 miler is a must. It would be good if we could hook up along the way. To go through avebury would be another 10-15 miles on top ish so maybe that goes over the mileage limit what do you think?

  • that looks better, i am not particularly excited about riding through london either. 10 miles in the countryside is like 2 miles there and london is massive. innit!

i like impossible challenges; let me rephrase that, i like stupid challenges and I think it'll be fun to do. As long as we got a bit of cash and mobile phones we won't die on the side of the road.

so fuck it, why not man

But dicki ... you might be the only person that will look the part.

  • i thought you guys were joining my threads posse for the ride down
are you doing gear or fixed ?

  • I've been itching to do longer and longer rides recently and really, REALLY want to do this but, alas, I'm in Berlin that weekend.

    Pointless post, sorry.

It only about 40 miles from where we are so riding fixed is certainly possible.

  • Here's the twist , we don't exist

  • warning ! Cambridge cunts ahoy
*due to unforseen circumstances it is possible to post on this thread without joining the cambridge fixed social group *
**warning ! We all know each other outside of here but don't know who the fuck you are **
