Wanted: Urgent: 700C fixed rear wheel

Owing to the rather untoward size of my current rear wheel, and the disintegration of the very old tyre today (tube: bang! had to walk 3.5 miles home), I'd like to replace the wheel with another one of a more common size, ie 700C.
Looking for anything up to £50 but preferably cheaper as I aint gots teh cash to splash. If anyone has anything I'd be grateful, already got lockring / sprocket etc of course.

I'd really like to have this before Tuesday, so I guess it'd be pickup tomorrow, towards middle of the day if possible. Located in SW4.

was it a 27?
there are a few threads on where to get them if you search around, it'll be much cheaper to replace the tyre.

Cheers, nope it wasn't 27, I'm pretty certain, was visiting a mate in Evans and went into their workshop, mechanics were good but they hadn't seen that size wheel before...was all ready to put a free Racelite on it as well...
I'd prefer it to be 700C rather than 27 anyway, but thanks

Actually, detail update, can be 27" if you must, but I'd need a tyre and tube as well then cos I aint got none knocking around in 27...

you can use a 700c inner tube.

I have an all black Mavic Open Pro CD, 32h laced to a Campag record high flange road hub, spaced and dished for 120mm and a standard track chainline. Obviously only of use to you if you ride with a brake, but you can have it cheap if you want it.
