Future Classics

I used to collect classic British bike stuff. What do the forum members think will be the classics in ten years? The only contenders I've seen are foreign, top of the list being Phil Wood Hubs.

This may be because it's my old fashioned tastes, so lets have your views.

I reckon the Fort Track Lo-Pro, not made anymore, don't see a lot of them around ;)

Actually, Lo-Pros in general... they'll come and go out of fashion but I reckon when they come into fashion in 10-20 years time there'll be a lot less old ones left around...

In a similar vein, older full geared groupsets. Obviously all the decent older freewheels & cassettes have been mostly ridden hard, worn out and no longer in production. And all the remaining stuff that was on bikes has been picked up by fixed gear fashionistas who tore it all off straight away and put it in the bin.

Older non-racing road bikes, cheaper & rarer more obscure ones which are the most comfortable and full of character.

Shoots self in face. Picks up all the parts of said face, then painstakingly recreates visage. Waits for wounds to heal. Then shoots self in face again, but with a larger calibre weapon
