My girlfriend has bribed be to decorate the flat this weekend.
Melon Sorbet on one "feature" wall, with Timeless on the surrounding walls. The ceiling will remain a brilliant white.....I'd give my left bollock to get out this weekend....

Sunday and Monday is where it's all happening really as there's more laid on.
The BMX Ramp they've built looks really good (I've a couple of pics of it in progress might upload later).

I've dug out the programme I was given too... Sunday highlight is that cyclemagic will be there with their roadshow - http://www.cyclemagic.org.uk/events.aspx
Monday aswell as the BMX there was due to be a schools roller racing event, I'm told not enough schools have signed up, so the rigs will be open to use by anyone who rocks up and wants a go. Yes, not quite rollapaluza, but similar - should be fun. You can ride a Penny Farthing too (not on the rollers mind).

Not quite Rollapaluza, but still good fun. I kept telling them they needed toe straps though... maybe next year?! Will try to sort BIG prizes for next year, so more folks'll rock up to have a blast.

Anyone know any way we could get a roller event in bham??
-

1) hire Rollapaluza
2) Contact Dug Pinkerton (Halesowen I think) - he is responsible for the rollers that are in the vid I posted. He can do a 4 rider rig too I'm told.

A small group of us are riding to Stratford-upon-Avon on Sunday (14th).
Meeting between 1-2pm outside the Bulls Head in Moseley. The pace will be steady (no more than 10mph?) but if enough of you peeps show I'm willing to go ahead of the pack for a bit of a faster ride.
Anyone know a good pub or two? -

I'm in if the weather is good. I'll take you to some decent ale houses for a decent quench and food.
Cheers -

Can you swing past (or to) Leamington Peace Festival?
http://www.peacefestival.org.uk/
It'll be much nicer there than in that tourist trap Stratford.

I'm down with that, how does everyone else feel?

No worries. Used to live in Leamington before moving to Digbeth. Haven't been for ages so yesireee that'd be alright with me.

any of you guys make it to Leam then? I rode over Sun PM, had a look around the stalls and saw a mate for a bit - we watched some weird stuff at the bandstand then caught the end of 3 Daft Monkeys on the main stage - they're wicked, seen them a few times before.

Over in Cov, the BMX show should be good - I've seen the ramp they're building and it had potential (although it's not quite a huge X-games type thing that's fo sure).
