yeah, I do quite a long commute with paths and all, and I'm tired of getting to work covered in mud (and late when there is really wet or icy), So I'm thinking of a fat wheeled winter fixed gear bike, mudguards and all, you know?

i dont live in london but i come up most weekends. this weekend i'll be around early friday and sat mornings and im in tottenham hale. i can hold stuff fpr people if they do paypal deposits, and i can post stuff at your cost if i really really have to. though i'd rather not mess about packing up another frame to post.
probably not the place for this but here goes....selling my karate monkey frame and fork. 18inch, black. some scuffing of the paintwork in lots of places, fork, down and top tube and stays. sounds awful and the photos make you think its awful but to be honest i was suprised to see some of the scuffs - the black paint seems to hide it well unless you look real closely. a cane creek aheadset is included, forks have been cut so only 30mm of steerer is available to clamp onto.. no spacering folks.
i had this built as my winter fixed, with mudguards and a front disk brake. it will take canti's/ v brakes or discs front and rear, rear facing drops plus a mech hangar. two sets of bottle mounts.
for those who dont know, its a 29'er mountain bike frame. i ran 700c wheels, and there was big clearance.
price is 150 no offers im afraid. check the new price. and check the surly website for proper details
timbuk2 courier back pack. hardly used, in black with a subtle checker weave print on the front flap. same construction as other timbuk2's so its waterproof fabric and tough. a couple of pen marks on the inside, but basically it pretty much looks new. still got the straps that came with it that i never figured what to do with.. the photos are rubbish, sorry, but the one where its on my back, there is a sewing machine in it, so you know its big enough and tough enough!
price is £60
[original thread is here but back again are....
