i'm pulling out due to fact that ball bearing races are irreplaceable :{)

The bearings in the Superbe pedals are small metric sized cartridge bearings which I think will be easy to get from a bearings factor - fitting new bearings will need a little care and time but certainly is not impossible - and in any case I present there is no play in the bearings one just does not feel as smooth as the other...

thanks for additional info hilary, but i have dibed for my friend [this sort of situation ends up damaging my reputation as being a trustworthy person:{)] if it was for me i would go for it; i'm standing corected on this one :{) good luck with the sale
