  • hi does any one have any used well broke in and formed and molded and shaped brooks b17 for sell ? if so please let me know and send info and pictures thx

  • The point is YOUR BUTT moulds and shapes it. HTFU

    .

  • ok i get your point but as i said i don't want to the the time to break one in. i heard they can take up to 500 miles or half of a year and they may still not break in so again does any one have any brooks all ready broke in and molded and shaped for sell send pictures and price in us thx

  • they're normally comfortable out of the box, stop worrying about it, breaking the saddle in make it even *more *comfortable.

half a year is an exaggartion, unless you do 10 miles a week.

  • ok thanks question what one is the best the reg b17 ? or the aged b17 ? thx

  • Whichever you prefer...

  • that did not answer the question i don't know a lot about brooks saddles you all do you ride them

  • It did answer the question.

    Buy whichever one *you* prefer.

  • ok lets try this has any one rode the aged b17 ? or the req b17 and what one did you like and break in the quicker ? does any one have an aged b17 that is broke in and molded ? if so let me see a picture of it thx

  • whichever you prefer, seriously just get the one that you think fit you the best, and stop worrying about breaking the saddle in.

it won't be uncomfortable out of the box, put it on the bike and ride it.

like I said, it get more comfortable, more being the keyword - it is not uncomfortable, unless you don't like it.

there's trillion of topic about brooks saddle not on here but on Google with similar question to your.

  • +1 to all Ed said.

    and...

...there are always brooks on ebay - some really old ones which are bound to be broken in... if you're really that bothered buy one of those.

The only way you're ever going to get a definitive ans it to buy one and see.

I know they cost allot of money so you want to be sure, but at some point you're just going to have to make a descsion yourself and buy.

All the blurb says the aged is softer, some ppl say they get increasingly soft as they get lighter (is black is harder honey softer).

IMO you should get the aged, bc your concerned about comfort and that way you'll never think to yourself "*this big hard black one is hurting my arse... I wish I was sitting on something a bit softer...:( *"

  • thanks as asked does any one have a used aged b17 broke in if so please send a picture i want to see it thanks again
