ok folks, this is a faction of the surrey drinks but a bit closer to the smoke

this coming tuesday (and prob most there after) we will be having drinks in croydon from around 7pm

starting at the spread eagle, its got an outside space and is surrounded by railings we can go on from here as its not written in stone

I'd be coming from Uxbridge, so about 25 miles, i'd be up for it (it's about the same distance to Norths) but Norths do have £3 pizzas =P

I can't come tomorrow as i've got a test first thing wednesday morning, but i'll try to get there next week (just don't tell the Norths guys).

Sorry to be so out of the loop, I'm from Dublin but probably spent a third of my childhood in Croydon, Wallington and Streatham on account of one half of my family coming from there. This conversation brings back some memories, and triggers some curiosity! The place had really come along the last time I was there... 5 years ago!

There's already quite a lot going on Tues nights: Norths, SE, Tricks.

I'd be up for the ride but not a the expense of being downstairs!

Croydon has always been cool. Where else can you buy a rare record from Europe's biggest independent 2nd hand record store (Beanos...looks like its closed/closing now though), browse a fine selection of high-street retailers and then get knifed outside mcdonalds all in the same day?
