Disagree with him being a shit commentator. Not everyone's cup of tea but he is the most colourful personality in football and a nice alternative to the drab callers we hear 95% of the time.

he is completely shit if you want to know what's happening in the game. there is nothing worse than listening to a close game and rex is yelling and screaming and singing and being "colourful" and you have no idea whether your team has kicked a goal, a behind, no score or aliens have descended onto the field. his ego and persona dominate the actual game.

The best commentator is Brian Taylor by a long stretch. I like Gary Lyon too. Triple M bogan commentary team. Quite lik4e Brayshaw too. And of course Dennis Cometti. Rexy is useless.
