For Sale: Very long reach (55-73mm) - rear caliper

Tektro R556 very long reach (55-73mm) dual pivot rear caliper, new and unused. £12

The caliper to have if you've got an old frame with huge clearances when you get the 700c wheels on. Rear only - I guess it could be rigged as a front if you've got an allen bolt - might be worth googling first if that's your plan just to make sure.

Oh, and its a whole lot of brake. Be warned!

Oh yes, these are a proper brakes made for bikes from the days when bikes were bikes. You know, all cobbled streets, men in woolen jerseys, fixing their own bikes in blacksmiths shops with great big fucking wheels *and *mudguards.

In short, yes, plenty of mudguard clearance and modern dual pivot breaking performance. What's not to like?
