2009-04-21 - Rider Down, Tooley Street + London Bridge Road

Didn't see the accident but rider wasn't moving when I got there. Hung around to help but there were plenty of people on hand waiting for the ambulance. Collision was with a Dairy Crest van. Can only speculate so I won't guess what happened.

It would've been about 8.30 this morning.

I saw a cyclist getting in the ambulance under their own steam and the bike looked ok. I assume it was the same guy and not a friend..

I would expect he's fine, probably a little concussed

jumped a red light from what I could hear the witness telling the ambo driver

I went through that junction just about spot on half eight and there was no sign of anything then, which is hopefully a good sign (if it happened before I got there).
