aw shucks, now i feel pretty celebrity. the anatomy lab is across the street, and if i put the bike on the railing i can watch it longingly, from behind the cadavers and curtains. spoke notes welcome : )
i, too, keep my eyes peeled. have spotted a commuter-y guy on a white 52cm-ish genesis a few times. and then a few odds and ends locked up around northumbria. one greyish/blackish non descript (risers, one brake).walking through monument, and if i'm not mistaken, usually locked near new bridge st/northumbria design school? i dont think its a bike i've met at polo.

Charge Tap with an internal gear hub ?? One of the lectureres at the design building. Think he's taped over all the charge logos !?

the one by the design building, upon closer inspection, is a dark blue fuji spree conversion with clipless pedals.
also spotted and spoke-noted black frame with choking victim stickers at byker morrisons at 4.

red machined rims, red chain.

Nope that would be the unipack of un-known ownership that frequents the the design building !?
-

What?! There's a Unipack in Newcastle? And I thought we had more taste up here ;)
-
• #12
nick from rcyb told me about it a few months back. he just said some guy came in with a ss/fixed bike and it was falling to bits so i assumed it was unipack.
-
• #13
i used to see him every other week lat year in heaton, usually around 4pm pushing his bike up warwick street? maybe you cant actually ride unipacks, maybe you just have to push them everywhere...?

Spotted that unipack bike yestrday outside the library. It had a ridiculously big lock on it!! I was definately more impressed by that than the bike.

saw a couple of blokes of fixed gear bikes riding down the pavement at the gate. both looked quite nice - a black frame and a grey frame. Both with ridiculously small risers and nice rims. both debadged.
Thought I may aswell start a spotted thead seen as I got one today....
Squeasal's star-spangled whip locked to the railings outside of the city hall this afternoon.
