I round down, think about it...
You have extra allowance due to the length of the nipples. But if they are too long theyll poke out inside the rim or you may not be able to tighten the nipple till they are up to tension.
Also dont forget spokes are durable enough to be re-used multiple times. It is often a good option to salvage from a different wheel.

try several different spoke calcs.
but yeah, round down by a mm if you need to.
if you *really *fuck it up, you can always get some 14mm nipples to cover your embarrassment, too long and you won't be able to tension the wheel properly

round down then get the next smaller size.
So, I know what length of spokes I want for my two new wheels (294.85 and 288.72) but seeing as cyclebasket only do spoke lengths in even mm, should I round up or down? I doubt it will make a huge difference either way, but I would like to get it right anyway.
