What's a vector, in T-Shirt printing lingo?
A vector design is just the edges... it can be scaled up and down really easily which makes transforming it to fit the requirements of the manufacturers really easy.
If it's an issue for anyone... just dont' worry about it now and we'll get someone to give a hand later.

You will get free shirts. How many depends on the demand for your design, but you'll at least get a couple of your own, and if you design a hit shirt then you can have some of the designers too.
Read the Terms and Conditions carefully, boys and girls. :)

Can someone make an 'I am Paul-Michel' T shirt.
This is rather selfish... I loved those bamboo shirts, soooo nice.
So I thought I'd make some more as mine are now becoming a little worn.
And as the T-Shirts have funded more of the website's existence than anything else (more than advertising, and way more than donations) it seems like a good idea to do a proper job of it.
So... same thing as before... nice bamboo shirts, and whatever designs are forthcoming, any designs that have enough people wishing to buy them to justify a production run will get made.
Unlike before though, I'm going to upfront say what this is worth to the designers... I hope what I'm about to say is all feasible and cool:
**Credit for Designers
**Put your signature on it somewhere... like an artist signing a painting, get the credit.
Renumeration for Designers
You will get free shirts. How many depends on the demand for your design, but you'll at least get a couple of your own, and if you design a hit shirt then you can have some of the other designs too. Shirts will be sent out as soon as they are produced... no waiting (matt, I promise... no waiting).
If you don't want the shirts, you can have cash. I'd rather pay you in shirts but again... happy to give you something like 10% of the profits for your shirt. But in the case of cash you will only get this when the entire run has sold or otherwise been disposed of (i.e. competition prizes for the last few perhaps) so that I can actually calculate what the profit for a specific design is.
Competition Design Theme
THERE IS NO THEME. It's just got to be linked to any aspect of whatever is happening within the various communities that make up this site.
So you can appeal to the masses if you want, or you can appeal to the niche... entirely up to you.
Judging
All designs will be judged by an open public poll that will run for a minimum of 2 weeks.
Votes on the poll will be considered an "interest in purchasing", and the number of votes will determine whether the shirt is made.
There is no limit on the designs we put into production.
And only 1 production run will be done.
The design competition will accept entries throughout April. The deadline will be the first week of May with a view for the poll to be up within a week following that.
Design Delivery
Upload designs in whatever format you wish, but be prepared and able to supply vectors if asked, or as close to hi-res raw images as possible (TIFF, etc).
Any questions?
Oh... and to set the standard... this is what we made last time around:
