Sam, you got any idea of what length steerer and thread section we're talking about? Might have something.

I got a pair of new Tange 1-inch forks in cro-mo off the shelf at my LBS. About £33 I think. Worth a look if you draw a blank on second hand. Sloping crown, very pretty.

Think you're going to prefer emab's as these aren't as classic and only have a 6.125" steerer, so are also a tad shorter, on the other hand don't have mudguard tabs, so if they're not your thing maybe? Really nice, if slightly short pair of forks, came with a Diamante frame that I wanted straight forks on, are in excellent condition, pm if you're interested :)

hi Sam - PM'd. I have some NOS chromed forks that might fit the bill.

Have you considered some threadless ones? I have the front end from a Bianchi Pista - Chrome forks, stem (both 1"), star nut/top cap (fitted) and sealed headset.

Hi Newby here so hijacking the thread, hope no one minds.
I'm trying to find some chrome forks. The ones I'm replacing have 5 1/2 in of tube with top 3/4" threaded. These are Dedacciai steel 1" tubing 700c
I live in east london

Try Tour De Ville. It's a bike shop in case you weren't aware. Jos who is on this forum is one of the driving forces behind the shop, message him and ask him if he's got any in stock (he probably will)!

Hate to thread hijack too but I'm struggling to find 1" threadless forks. Bike Destroyer do you still have those pista forks? If so how much steerer is on them (my frame has 100mm headtube so probably enough), is there much rake on them and what sort of price would you be looking at posted?

I think they're sold. I'll let you know if the other guy doesn't want them.
easy all,
got mowed down by a mercedes saloon last week and now the front end of my vintage pinarello looks like a dali painting. looking for some shiny chrome forks to replace the old ones, think they were 1 inch and threaded.
preferably looking for sloping shoulders too. kinda desperate as I need to get training for the london - brighton ride in june.
cheers,
sam
