Ok, none of it in Brum, but not exactly far away:

23-25 May Coventry Festival of Cycling (maybe chance for a fringe festival if you wanna invade?) (note - for 2010 rumours of Bike Polo demo / tournament already going around)

21st June - Bike Week ride (tbc for sure) - Coventry again, some chance for larking around the park afters...

26th July - Rumours of a few rides heading to Leam (to get numbers there) and then a Freewheel type event in Leamington that may have scope to evolve into a proper CM...

Hope to see some of you along...

Unrelated to Brum, I touted the idea of "official" rides over to Leamington Peace Festival (first weekend of bike week - 13/14 June) but probably a bit late to get anything formal in place for this year... will defo keep in mind for 2010 though if some of the other stuff in 09 works out.

A war festival would definitely be more heterosexual. Lets organize one where we celebrate government mass murder by killing lots of vulnerable animals, perhaps some rabbits and from the pet shop. That would be totally hetero.

Ive been to the peace festival before, it was really quite good. Much better than similar stuff in Birmingham (moseley festival) and its free.
