Yep ! 5D mkII and a HV30. The PD170 is very nice, I think it is 3 chip (?).

James - that's awesome, get back to me.
Tynan - correct, it is a 3 ccd camera. In my opinion still the best ENG style camera. You can pull it out and stick it on auto and always get a result, which isn't so true on the more fragile and light dependent HDV models more recently.
Adman - it's Standard Def, yeah. But you get less digital artifacts than from a cheap HDV at the moment.
Slag - I think there's a bloody dreadlock still attached, but I've pulled all the indymedia stickers off it so no-one will know any better.

Yup... especially if you shot on decent DV-Cam stock.
:-)
I've used the PD-150 and PD-170 in the past. Love the quality of the footage.

Sorry dude, my mate would be interested but he has not got the funds at present.
I just realised that I haven't used my camera for six months so it's time to dash it. Not many hours, kept in good condition and serviced, bought from new, a load of accessories and waterproof camera bag.
Open to offers but around 1500 would be ace.
Time to make those video sections look a little better.
