I spent several years on technology magazines, but five months ago I got sponsorship from a paper to take my NCTJ. I'm about to pass that, but work just told me they can't take me on afterward.

I've got shorthand, a few years experience and a full, clean driving licence. I'd love to get back on a paper, but a magazine would be good, too.

applied for a job seeker's allowance today. there was a question there asking why i am unable to find work (as a ltd company/contractor). i just said that there arent any out there. they answered it for me - "CREDIT CRUNCH". had no idea that is an actual official term.
