oh yeah, I vaguely remember having a drunken conversation about Soma'a last night... i'll have a look.
I would prefer them to be pink all over rather than have a black side wall like those Halos -
• #7
soma's just have a pink stripe, less than the halos
-

Continental FTW. Ask hippy - he's their UK spokesperson. May do you a deal...

Maybe I should get white vittoria zaffiros instead. Bloody hell, i cant decide -
• #18
zaffiros aren't exactly great for skidding either J :-/
-
• #19
yeah, I guess not. Its not for the everyday bike though so I could probably get away with it

Not trying to Hijack the thread, but i've got new wheels coming soon which I want to put wider tyres on (32/35c)
What Tough and reasonably light 32/35c tyres would you guys recommend, i've got these in mind at the moment: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=24539
Bear in mind that they will need to tolerate alot of abuse, I ride brakeless, drop off of stuff, wallride etc etc. -

randonneur, but you'd want a 22+mm rim
I'd like some pinks tyres and the only ones I have found are the Dia Compe Gran Compe SS tyres. However they're insanely expensive and I have heard they're rubbish - buttery soft, one skid and they're worn through.
Anyone disagree with this or know of any other bright pink tyres?
