I've not seen them but like the idea. It's blunt and devoid of the H&S handwringing that surrounds some of the signs that are out there.
All I would say is that (cue H&S handwringing) it may compel some younger people who are convinced of their indestructibility to give it a go down the suicide way.

Was it referring to the rear hub? Maybe he decided after buying the lorry that he wanted to drive it fixed/fixed.

Seems like a good idea to me

Tho not much help when they're the ones overtaking and cutting you up...

I have to say that I approve of this. BUT - there is a valid argument that this kind of wording implies culpability on any cyclist who ventuires down the left and side and is injured or killed.
I would not expect that argument to stand up in a court of law but, in terms of public perception, it could be deemed negative.
IMO, better to have the blunt sign that prevents at least one person from getting into a dangerous situation.

Wasn't that one of the suggestions in the HGV spokecard thread thing last year?

We have the power to change the world.
Perhaps we should start a political party and campaign for all pub burgers to be 2 for 1?

It looked like the guy who ownes the lorry had got them made up himself ... as they where just number plates... So "well done that man"

Lots of lorries have a big red X on the inside and a blue arrow on the outside, however the foreign lorries have it the wrong way round which is a bit stupid when they're driving in the UK.

Might I suggest:
<-- Wrong side ¦ Right side -->
Keeps it simple. -

I very long large lorry went past me today and on his back left had a sign " SUICIDE WAY" and on the right side a sign " SAFE WAY" .... This was either a poltical statement or a warning to smaller vehicles...ie US!
I have never seen these signs and thought they made a good point.
Comments??
