I've just bought a pair of their climber trousers and have been impressed with them so far. Good fit and very comfortable on the bike.

I've had a pair of their 4 season trousers for more then a year now. Great stuff, wear them almost every day and still no real show of wear. Got all my money back on them by saving myself spending cash on constant jean replacement from crotch holes.... Saying that, these are pretty similar for half the price:

in the market for an everyday jacket, and some dress shirts to ride in as the short sleeve ones I got from rapha stink hideously now, everytime a drop of sweat touches them no matter how hard you wash them,,
so looking at oultier, they seem to be pricey, but looks like you get an engineered garment, that will be with you for a while, gonna pop into TFG and have a look and touch, and try of their Pivotal bomber jacket, and their Blazed Cotton Pivot Sleeve Shirt, and maybe some of their trousers/jeans, but we'll see

I had a look at their shirts in TFG and they are horribly over priced for what they are.

I have been using some of their stretchy cycling trousers on and off for the last 6 months. The threading has started to come loose in various places such as the belt loops and the front button fell off within a week. Also, all of the branding and washing instructions washed off the inside after a handful of washes. If these were £40 trousers I'd be pretty annoyed but for for an item of clothing costing more than £130 this is wank. Yeah, they're comfortable for cycling in but Outlier can fuck right off. Terrible quality for the price imho.

Anyone have any experience with their three way shorts? I'm after a pair of shorts that I can tour in as well as swim.
It looks like Tokyo Fixed stock them in limited sizes and colours but £95 is pretty steep for a pair of shorts so just wanted a review or two before committing.
Failing that, I wonder what the Swrve WWR shorts would be like for swimming in.
I thought this would be as good a time as any to start an Outlier thread here. They make performance clothing for urban cyclists, that looks good. Check them out at http://www.outlier.cc they guys who run it are ace, and their heads are totally in the right place style and tec wise. They are bringing out some mrino wool t-shirts soon, and i did a quick shoot with jullio (from the borad, you may know her a Juliet from Charge) while she was out here in one of the outlier shirts and caps, you can find it on my blog here http://www.theupperlip.com/2009/03/this-is-my-job.html
I'll keep you updated on there stuff as it comes out over the next couple of weeks.
