  • Hello, can't forum search from phone so posting new topic - links to existing threads or answers would be great ta.

On one gold deep flange hubs arrived today, anyone got the technical data to punch into spoke calc, or can help with spoke length to go on open sport rims, standard 3 cross?

Also, dishing on rear will be zero - i.e. Centred - i think as it's double sided hub... is that correct?

    Ta.

  • How many spokes?
I have a on one black double sided fixed 32h laced to an open sport, think I had 292mm spokes

Arup has a load of specs for various hubs, on one double sided is on there I believe

i think you mean 292mm my dear friend.

  • i think you mean 292mm my dear friend.

    Yarp, I did indeed. Corrected.

  • old 120mm

    nut to flange 30 mm

    flange radius 50 mm.

    This is all from memory.

  • cheers folks, yes 32 spokes. Sounds like there's a definite answer.

If i had a bankers bonus i'd be buying open pro's or blingier, but given my circumstances open sport will do the job.

  • On this calc: http://lenni.me/edd/

using an ERD of 608 (http://www.londonfgss.com/thread5062.html)

I'm getting 296.43 for the rear, and 293.2 for the front... not far off the 292 posted earlier...

What sort of margin for error is there on spoke length?

  • Bump... any thoughts anyone?

  • 296 sounds too long. Tollerence is usually 1-2 mm. Round down in general.

  • OK, cheers.

  • check the flange height you are using, on-one has 2 different size hubs, you may of used the small flange hub by accident.

  • cool, will do. Gotta redo all the calcs anyway as i just picked up some open pro's :)

  • what lockring threads are the onone hubs? DA?

  • Yes, DA.

  • great thanks.

  • Anyone got the dimension of the on one 32 hole inbred rear large flange hub (135mm spacing), the 32 hole large flange track hub rear and the large flange track front hub.

As I'd like to check my calculations, as to what has gone wrong.
