I got a Vittoria innertube for £3.50 yesterday, blew it up within seconds of fitting it though. I might as well have thrown the £3.50 straight into the bin.

it was almost £7!*This was before we knew that we were both forummites.

Buy them in bulk. You can normally get 20 for £30 if you shop around.

The last lot I got were 20 Vittoria tubes for £30 from, I think, www.xpedia.co.uk - not sure if they are even in business anymore though as this was a few years back. I've one left so will keep an eye out for more.

and when you left the shop he shouted Sucker! and did double handed V signs like rick from the young ones. he even did a small belm at the same time.
I know the pound is weak but WTF? Just spent £6 on an emergency inner tube from Cycle Surgery and then check online and they're £5.40 from Wiggle.
Time to start repairing those punctures...
