  • Me and a buddy just launched this site http://www.theupperlip.com its about arts, culture, fashion, and dressing like an adult. Its NYC centric, but some of you might like it. We have a lot coming up in the next few days (street style, night life, shop reviews, grooming, dressing, ect). Hope you like it.

  • Clearly not your spelling...

  • i'm slightly lost for words...

are you intending on becoming the discerning hipster's hipsters, crish?

  • His Truman Capote look is coming on though you have to admit.

    Just needs the hat.

  • No i don't write for it, much. you would be proud i spen an hour reading debates on the proper way to spell ne'r do well.

Its promotional for me and a buddy, we are bigging up some of our buds, and seeing what happens.

Truman Capote competes with Pat Bateman to be my style hero

  • You both look real purdy.

  • No i don't write for it, much. you would be proud i spen an hour reading debates on the proper way to spell ne'r do well.

    Ne'er-do-well.

  • I hope you'll be taking some tips from this guy

  • Ne'er-do-well.

not according to the oxford unabridged dictionary (us version)

    look at our links list...

  • look at our links list...

Very good: in which case I expect it to be at least half as entertaining

  • not according to the oxford unabridged dictionary (us version)

Well if you're using a US dictionary you'll never get the proper result. Apostrophes replace missing letters - in this case the 'v' of never. I am right they are wrong. BTW, if you cared so much to look that up, why 'littel'?

  • Ne'er-do-well.

to Chris: You do realise this is what your blog actually says, right?

    (minus the hyphens)

  • hyphens are the argument in this case...

  • what? but he just said apostrophes replace..
    oh, never mind

  • debates on the proper way to spell ne'r do well.

    Apostrophes too...

Platini is right. apostrophes are for missing letters. i also concur with his hyphenation. i used to be a professional grammar nazi (now i'm just an enthusiastic amateur who can't be fucked with the 'shift' key). bah humbug.

  • awesome

  • i know the photoshop is bad but for somethin that is going to appare at 90x110 pixels its fine, not like im getting paid for it... but it will be replaced when i get a seccond of free time bewteen freinds visiting, work, girls, and eating.

  • Hey Chris, get a hold of my friend Adam Suerte in Brooklyn. He's a tattoo artist and painter, born and raised in Brooklyn. He's a great guy and a good guy to get involved with. He might lead you guys to some other cool artists, Dj's, etc.

professor crash takes a break from his studies into the urban myth of the hipster

  • in all your time over here, did nobody show you how to tie a windsor knot, chris?

(well done on the website, btw)

  • I abstain from commenting on this thread.

    Sort of.
