  • Was reading about the B43 (B for Brisvegas) last week, sounds like the deep-V war is officially on... Bound to be shitloads stronger than the H+Son...

  • Interesting.

    730grams though?!

  • I just find it funny that its 1mm deeper than the h+son

  • It's war, the Arrospokalypse is upon us... We're all doomed...

  • We're gonna be riding goddam front discs soon

  • just a matter of time...

I think making them a mm deeper than H&Sons is a bit of a bitch-slap, but only cause I run H&Sons I guess. Which Mosque in the Holy Land was made the largest church of its time by being constructed 1 inch bigger than the biggest Christian church in the area? That was a similar bitch-slap, but on a slightly more massive scale.

  • Might be a better idea to concentrate of deep rim without massive weight?

720g for the rim is pretty much the same as an Open Pro with tyre and tube! And that is weight where it really counts.

  • Forget your deep rims, Mavic Open Pro FTW. :^)

  • I just find it funny that its 1mm deeper than the h+son

Heh heh, me too, 720g is pushing it though, I suppose if you wanted them for tricks they should, in theory, be stronger than h+s.

  • woohoo, 48 polo rims

  • I'd be happy to use a pair of the 36s for polo. They sound like they're overbuilding them.
Wouldn't want them for anything else though.

  • Repost?

  • can anyone imaging just how expensive that rims going to be? considering H+Son cost about £60 nowadays.

  • and £60 for h+ is cheap. hypocrit

  • Initially H+Son were sending all their rims via airmail which increased their cost, then the exchange rate buggered things up even more... Don't know if this has since changed... Velocity send their stuff out by the container load, I've been reliably informed... Makes 'em that bit cheaper... They're cheaper here than in Brisbane anyway!?!

  • it didn't stop the Deep V from costing £45ish due to the recession thought.althought since Velocity sending their by boatload, then it'd probably cost the same as H+Son.

  • In the grand scheme of things 60 squid for a rim is hardly bank-breaking, the real reason to avoid them is that with hubs and spokes, you're talking about a 2.5 kilo wheelset...

...and for that reason I'm out.

  • I don't know about that, but £60 for each rims is bank-breaking to me!
