very easy to make. Not sure about ding-protection compared to the kashimax though.

i have a leather one. it shifts about. the kashimax ones don't.

thanks guys, i doesn't need to protect really it's just a cover in small dent in the tube, i want to match it to my saddle.

i have a length of inner tube wrapped thrice around my top tube, secured by black electrical tape. it looks good because i took time in doing it properly.
EDIT: oops, just read that it's cosmetic thing. not much help i suppose, soz.

Has anyone tried wrapping part of an old belt and sealing the edges with electrical tape?

i'm looking for a small leather or suede top tube protector, just a small one like the kashimax gold one, to stop the bars from banging.
anyone seem one anywhere.
