It's titanium isn't it? I am under the impression that ti frame are usually around the grand mark, althought that was merely based on seeing the ti frame in Cavendish Cycles that cost £1,000.

It's been in the pipeline for utterly ages. It's a nice looking frame, and probably sweet to ride, but overpriced considering the price of the custom jobs above.
Pity really, if it was cheaper it'd be lish. -

or a 'track specific', 'fluted' seattube bob jackson x BLB for around the £800 mark, I wonder how much a hand made titanium frame would cost?

It depends. I don't know of any UK frame builder building in titanium. You are then limited to overseas builders with a UK importer or you have to go direct to the manufacturer. Seven, based in the US, build their ti frames on a custom basis and they start at around £3k.
I've a De Rosa that was custom made and it cost £3k as a complete bike in 1999. It's still going strong and, when clean, looks as good as new.

And I just don't get the slack head-angles.
Maybe they used the geometry of a tourer by mistake? Can't see where the mudguards and panniers would go though?
-
• #25
all charges are a little but 'droopy'. I've not ridden one though and would be interested to see how their geometry feels.
Ok, so we've all seen that 'gold' plug which was a ludicrously pointless lame publicity stunt. But I just spotted this:
**£1,271.99 in Evans. Not sure what the full RRP is. Is anyone really gonna buy this?
Can you not get a really really nice custom built frame for that?
