Someone was looking for a Plug in the Wanted section . . .
-
• #5
cheers Duncan, i did see that.... i'm gonna try and sell it in one piece first.
i don't mind splitting... as long as there are buyers for all the bits.
i'm gonna leave it on here for a week before ebay/gumtree. -
• #6
shame you're leaving the plug family man..I dont think I will ever sell mine even when I do get my new frame..if MOC lets me get away with it.
-
• #7
i know.... i love it, but i'm getting my new lo-pro built... and i want to get a road bike too... i don't have room for 4 bikes
-

Rob, I may be interested for the right price and with a test ride for the size.
how many golden nuggets do you have in mind? -
• #12
edit..... £450.

• #13
too step for me, I want it for polo, so really interested in the frame.
I will be kind in the frame, if you split, but of course I have second bids, and we all know such a thing never happenRob, good luck with the sale and see you soon

no worries Rik... cheers anyway dude.
it might just be my sentimental attachment.... but i think it's a little nice for polo!.... i don't think the forks would last too long!i'll let you know if i split.
-
• #15
no, no way that the forks could take the beating of polo
the frame can, I'm sure.
and I understand the sentimental attachment, it's a lovely bike -
• #16
lurker is looking for a charge. it might be a bit small think he wants a 55cm, give him a pm if you don't sell it.
-
• #17
dibs on the lever and seatpost if you decide to split
-

Can I have one nipple? That one on the front wheel, just by the valve. No *that *one.
-
• #19
don't talk about my nipples like that.
-
• #20
Was Jimbilly drunk when he suggested that price?!
-
• #21
Laugh out LOUD!!!
-
• #22
he's allways drunk.
-
• #23
Hmmmm, have the upgrades made it noticably lighter, or is it still a bit weighty like the OTP Plug?
-
• #24
TBH, i never had an issue with the weight in the first place, but the forks do make a big differance. the old steel ones weighed a tonne.
it's never gonna be the lightest bike in the world, but for what i used it for, it's fine. -

all the parts were brand new in december/january, which is the same time i aquired the rustbike from Sano, which is now my daily ride, so this has been hardly used since.
i cleaned it and seviced it at the weekend, and took it out for 20 miles or so... everything is running fine/true. i had forgotten how nice it is to ride!
the frame has a few scrathes, but nothing massive, everything else is in perfect condition.
it's had alot of money spent on it,(the forks especially!!!) the only stock part is the frame, so it's not going to be the cheapest sale ever, but i'm in no way expecting to get back every penny i've spent on all the bits... so hit me up with some offers.
I had a chat with Hillbilly the other day about what we thought would be a fair price, so if i dont get that here, it'll be going on ebay/gumtree, as i'm in no real rush to sell it.
Pedals not included.
