Hero.

Classy Mike, hope you are ok though? This could develop into crash top trumps.
-
• #4
what happened then, did you damage it?
not sure I would risk breaking my bike
-
• #5
Pity it wasn't Clarkson.
-
• #6
haha, brilliant story. So what happened at impact + 2 seconds?
-
• #7
Pity it wasn't Clarkson.
He doesn't ride a bike.

Nah RPM, that was my thought, especially with HH opening tomorrow. I probably hit him at just under 5mph so no damage to my bike whatsoever. Pretty sure there was no damage to the car either. I just gave him the usual volley of abuse and was on my way

hahahaha
I almost crashed into Jaygee this morning as we manoeuvered around a Bentley. -

deliberately crashing into a lamborghini makes you a bit of a twat, but also double-hard, which more than cancels it out.

cool, hard angle to risk riding your track iron to work though..I'm not risking my HPs or tubs on the road, 90GI Nobraked FTL

Sorry, how does it make me a twat. If I wasn't such an experienced cyclist I would have hit him a lot fucking harder.

• #14
Not a black one in central was it?
-
• #15
You could have avoided it?
-
• #16
So you COULD have avoided him but you chose to crash into him instead to teach him a lesson?
So next time a car has the chance to stop but decides to crash straight into one of us instead, will that be alright?
That kind of behaviour is fucked up IMO...accept that there are idiots out there on the roads...but don't become one yourself!
+1
I know it seems funny now but it's really not, besides, taking your shit out on someone just because he drives a Lamborghini isn't cool, you know nothing at all about this guy but because he drives a Lamborghini you think it's ok to do that, would you have done it to someone in an old Nissan Micra or something??
Also, as Scott said, you're just going out of your way to give this guy an excuse to dislike cyclists and maybe next time he wakes up with a hangover and feels like pissing someone off he'll see someone on here who's spent there hard earned Do$$ah to buy their dream bike (NJS, BJ etc.) and smack into them for a laugh "seeing as they can afford to get it fixed".
Disappointing...
Besides, the way car prices are, Lamborghini's especially, this guy probably works in Tesco or something

yeah you shouldn't go around deliberately crashing into cars, but it's still pretty fucking funny.

Totally.
Might scratch your top tube or something.

You are completely wrong to say this.
The alcohol in me from last night combined with the beauty of the morning made me decide crashing into him was the correct thing to do. It was nothing to do with it being a Lamborghini, I would have done it to any car. It just makes it sweeter than it was. Like I say, if I was not so aware as a cyclist, I would have been travelling a lot faster on impact and would have been injured. If my behaviour causes said driver to think a bit before pulling out then I am doing other cyclists a favour.
God, so many people here get on their high horses too quickly

I see your point alright but to be honest your more likely to have just made this guy pissed off at cyclists...
-
• #22
hang on everyone, I read the OP differently.
it seems the bloke pulled out in front of mike and he hit the car instead of decking his bike, he didn't ride randomly into an innocent driver, the bloke was at fault

the word 'tragedy' is overused, but...

Yeah that's true but he also said he could have avoided it altogether...

Classic story mike! Absolute Gold.
Everyone does need to calm the fuck down. Read mike's story properly before jumping down his throat. This idiot pulled out of a side road in front of mike.
Beautiful morning, despite my raging hangover, made even better by crashing into a brand spanking new Lamborghini.
I see him ahead of me in a side road, and I just* know* he is going to pull out in front of me, daddies little boy can't drive daddies car properly. So I have slowed right down to about 5 mph by the time I cycle straight into his gleaming wing. I could of avoided him completely of course, but I wanted to see if I could damage his car. I was contemplating not slowing down, whakcing him full pelt and see if I could of gotten some nice new wheels and the old injuries claim. Anyway, it made my morning, the look of panic on his face at impact - 2 seconds
