They're only good for cruising down massive hills. I wouldn't use one for anything else (not that I'd actually use one in the first place)

Forgot to add repost, they're buried in the depths of this forum.

Lets do the maths
If fork travel = 100mm or so,
and ground clearance for fork depression = 80mm or so.then bike = FAIL!

What a great idea, we all kknow how easy it is to get around when scooting a bike (e.g. snapped chain or busted freehub), so one of these would definitely be a worthwhile purchase

Will the bull horns will be good for leverage for getting up those big hills? These are really the most useless things I have ever seen.

I love these kind of useless inventions. Like the dude in the roller suit from france, or that roller blade front wheel thing that was posted here yesterday I think. I get such a laugh but then I get sad, sad at the idea of a guy being so completely deluded to loose his shirt on total shit like this.
Peace

i was in kiwi cycles last week and they had two models
seemed quite nicely put together
was originally designed for the spanish designers son to use as a windsurfer on land but didn't quite work out
the alloy rear triangle could look quite nice adapted and put on a road frame
unusual / aero ? -

Because a big-wheeled scooter like that is a good intermediate step in some cases. There are people who have considerable problems with balancing a two-wheeler, so that sometimes they can't start on a pedal cycle straightaway. I can't speak for the 20-odd years of experience of teaching people to ride bikes that the LSC has, but that's my understanding.
