Highly recommended!
Quite a fixed-friendly route - Bitchling Deacon is the only bit that still hurts me, although Portnalls Road (on the way up to Chipstead) is a bit of a grind and going down Reigate Hill and off the south side of Turners Hill can be a bit mad and spinny.
Breakfast will be available at the Madeira cafe on the seafront.
I'm due to be a tail-end-charlie on this ride. There's a list building up on CycleChat.

The route is very good--it's what we ended up using on our recent Saturday/Sunday run down to Brighton (with some slight variations around Gatwick). With many thanks to balmain for excellent help with recce-ing, of course.
I was thinking of doing a Brighton ride on the 14th but given that this ride is so close to that date I won't--unless there's overwhelming demand. :)
Have fun, guys!

No decisions yet--I think I'll only have time to organise another night ride in May (NB this is of course NOT under the auspices of the FNRttC). If I can, I'll do another one in April, but it's looking too busy. I'll start a new thread when I know what I want to propose.
Not my ride, but just flagging up that the Friday night rides to the coast are starting up again on March 13th to Brighton. Full list of dates and destinations for 2009 on the attached pdf if I've done it right.
Did a few last year - highly recommended; easy pace, superbly organised, no one gets dropped or lost. Midnight start Hyde Park Corner, Gatwick coffee stop, Ditchling, breakfast in Brighton then train (or ride) back. Anything from 20 to 80 riders, usually a few fixed.
Need to register so they know the numbers, if you're interested drop an email with a mobile number to Simon Legg on fnrttc@yahoo.co.uk.
